We want funding to flourish.

Plinth exists to make the charity sector easier to understand and fairer to access. There is great inequality in funding. For smaller charities, they’re unable to penetrate the cliques of funders. For funders, it’s difficult to find the most deserving charities. Our mission has always been to develop technology that addresses these inequalities and enhances transparency and accountability across the sector. Ultimately, the hope is that this will contribute to greater community impact. Inevitably, this comes with challenges. In particular, the use of AI has great benefits for the sector but also could threaten the very human essence which makes it. As we grow and develop this type of tech, we always wish to outline our own thinking, so we ourselves are transparent about the ups and downs of this journey.
